Greg Robbins, Director of Christian Education
Since my youth I have served in local church ministry. Children and their families hold a special place in my heart and I have been blessed to have served in a few churches for a long-term impact on God’s kingdom. I received my BA in children’s & youth ministry from Pacific Christian College (now Hope International University) and have developed a philosophy of striving to reach all generations with the Good News of Jesus Christ. As I enter my fifth year in ministry here at YLUMC, I am so excited about our growing ministries which include our Kids Kingdom Sunday School, our Preschool & Kindergarten program and a Cub Scout & Boy Scout program. I also enjoy working at my part-time job with FedEx and spending time with family. Our family is made up of my wife Julie, two grown children, one adopted youngster, a couple of grandkids, along with a home full of frogs (not real ones) to help us all…F.R.O.G. = Fully Rely On God! I look forward to serving your family and the community around us!!!

Summer Langford, Director of Youth
Summer started volunteering with the youth ministry in her previous church in 2014 where she discovered that she loved working with the young people of the church. In June and July of 2015, Summer did mission work with CMF International in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. It was during this time that she first believed God was calling her to full time ministry. When she returned to America, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in American Studies at Cal State Fullerton and applied to seminary. Summer is currently attending Talbot Seminary at Biola University to obtain her Masters in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care. She is learning about what it means to “walk in the Spirit” as Paul commanded and how to teach and guide others through this journey. Summer is passionate about helping youth on their journey of faith and walking alongside them in their daily lives.
